My EBONYKARR92 Lightbar
Short Movies Compare HPI Modification
I have just added a High Power Interface built by Tuono Nero. If you cant afford those big bucks but need a scanner... this thing will make an excellent replacement with this light bar for half the cost! See how to make it HERE
from Ebonykarr92 light bar w/JC bulbs - To a fine made product
This are my pics of my First attempt of the bar. I was not able to obtain the acrylic mirror until after I constructed the bar. In the search for Plexiglas I found it at a glass shop. So I had to make a couple of alterations to the designs to make mine work.
Couldn't find any Acrylic Mirror. So Clear Plexiglas it was... and a couple sheets of that cut able replacement mirror from AutoZone.
OOPS! I broke my Circuit board bending it! A little sanding to get the protective coating off the circuit, some wire, and solder to the bulbs.. Good as new Right? Well I hope......
Guess
Its Time to get Building.
Ah Finished... Now to add some Lenses
There, now it has a couple lenses. Only two more steps
Next I install it! Add the HPI now in a old speaker box

Before the HPI After the HPI
Here is a short movie of the bar including T.N.'s HPI. Please keep in mind that my red lens is not very translucent and that this unit is only under 10volts when it should be under 12. I just need to get to the store and buy an on/off switch.
